Last year, Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association first organized the JUXTAPOSED 2017 show at Tamar Park, merging the art of fashion design with the fluidity of music. This year, JUXTAPOSED Fashion x Music 2018 will be staged at the newly refurbished Tai Kwun, the first ever fashion show in its more than 100 years of history. With its
historical value, the former Central Police Station compound, sets as a perfect backdrop for JUXTAPOSED 2018, fusing classic, traditional heritage with creative modernity. In addition to the fashion parade, an exhibition featuring the works of 75 Hong Kong designers will be exhibited in an innovative setting, exploring possibilities of presenting the outfits in various different mediums, offering the audience an unparalleled and immersive experience.
 

Bringing technology into fashion shows and showcasing new concepts in a heritage conservation

The JUXTAPOSED Visuals of Fashion Exhibition will be showcasing the works by 75 Hong Kong fashion designers from different generations. The outfits will be presented by the engagement of innovative technologies like hologram and other digital effects, allowing the audience a multi-faceted experience of the works and vision of the designers. And by exhibiting in the iconic Tai Kwun, hopes to bring Hong Kong fashion design and presentation to a whole new magnitude.

Intermingle on stage between the new and established fashion designers

JUXTAPOSED Fashion x Music 2018 show will be held in Tai Kwun on a multidimensional stage, contrasting historical heritage with new technology and visual effects. Music performers of different genres, will be the background in the parade of 150 outfits by 75 designers, the amalgamation of these vibrant elements will create strong contrasts, a true Fusion of Fashion, Music, Culture, Technology and Lifestyle.

去年香港時裝設計師協會在添馬公園首次舉行JUXTAPOSED千人時裝音樂嘉年華，成功將靜的時裝與動的音樂融合。今年JUXTAPOSED 2018進一步將對比放大，以新舊元素融和為主題，特意選址於香港最新古蹟活化地、著名歷史文化地標—中環大館，在這個極具歷史價值的舊中區警署建築群中，呈獻百年史上首個本地時裝音樂匯演《JUXTAPOSED Fashion x Music 2018》。除匯演外，今年更同時舉辦以時尚文化和科技元素交匯編織而成的展覽《時裝．視覺．展》，聯同75位本地時裝設計師把作品以新技術呈現，為大眾帶來不一樣的時尚體驗。

時裝展覽引入創新科技　舊建築展出時尚新思維

邀請75位香港不同世代的時裝設計師展出作品，初次將大型全息影像技術應用於本地時裝展覽，以數碼視覺效果呈現時裝的無限可能，期望於百年歷史文物建築之內，將香港時裝設計師的國際新視野投射出來。

 

多世代時裝設計師　舞台交流碰撞

在百年舊警署內，搭建嶄新舞台，營造多重視覺效果，在強烈對比的環境中，舉行充滿文化色彩的時尚音樂嘉年華。屆時將有多個類型、風格的音樂表演單位與75位香港時裝設計師的150件作品結合，擦出動靜對比的視聽火花，展現時裝．音樂．文化．科技．生活的華麗共舞。
